SPR specialises in custom manufacturing of gears and pinions and in producing mechanical parts of any size, per unit or in short production runs.

Manufacturing, cutting and grinding

SPR, the specialists in manufacturing precision gears and pinions, works to provide its local or international customers with the best possible service quality. To guarantee the quality of its products, SPR harnesses the resources of its businesses, employees and equipment, in a way that respects the traditions of mechanical engineering. Our know-how allows us to control the whole manufacturing process and to guarantee the quality of our products.

From prototype to mass production

Our gear cutting and grinding expertise and know-how make SPR one of the main players in the field of mechanical transmission.

SPR manufactures all types of gears as a complete package or as a phase-specific operation including cutting, teeth grinding or gear testing and inspection. SPR specialises in manufacturing products that are complex because of their precision, geometry, special processes or materials. The strength of our group means that we are equipped with multiple machines that allow us to carry out most operations in-house.

Stringent quality control

Our procedures specific to each stage of the manufacturing process allow us to control quality from the very first part onwards. Our testing and traceability procedures respond to the needs of all industrial sectors, so we can master the specifics of your parts without unnecessary costs. In addition to traditional methods, we test the geometry of your parts using digital measuring machines. We test and inspect our gear teeth across the entire ISO parameter spectrum.

Gear design and engineering

Using the most dependable software, SPR will design your gear train to your specification. Our design office will help you determine or approve the characteristics and specifics of your application. Because the performance of your gears depends on so many parameters, teeth can often be optimised to guarantee the best efficiency, torque and longer life.
