Forge work & casting

The SPR group specialises in metal casting: steel, iron and stainless steel, copper and aluminium.

Do you have forged part requirements?

As specialists in forging and casting, the SPR group is qualified to produce critical components for use in different sectors of industry. The different metals and alloys used each have particular properties that give the parts different capabilities in terms of mechanical strength, degrees of lightness and conductivity. They are therefore chosen to fit each application as per a precise specification drafted jointly with the client. SPR will support you throughout all phases in the industrialisation of your projects including validation of the casting and forge work.

A parts machining business that specialises in forge work and cast iron

SPR offers complete solutions for machining forged and cast parts for all sectors. Forge work and casting are modern and innovative industries. They shape metals by moulding and forging.

SPR meets your open-die forging needs for steel or copper, stainless steel, cast iron, steel, aluminium and bronze, swaging and centrifugal casting as well as your hot isostatic powder compression industrial requirements. Our extensive experience in the sector makes SPR a trusted partner in forged and cast part machining for different sectors.

Extensive experience

The SPR group benefits from extensive experience in the materials processing sector. Our components are designed and manufactured with concern for perfection and precision. With production facilities in Europe at the cutting edge of technology, we cover the whole spectrum of forging techniques, as well as the full development process of hot-forged parts, warm forging, cold forging or electric upsetting, from design to production. SPR also forges all types of material: steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, nickel and titanium alloy. In addition, with foundries in excellent condition, innovative tooling and a reliable workforce, the SPR group is recognised as a quality partner in this specific sector.

Excellent mechanical qualities

Producing dimensions as close as possible to the finished product by forging blanks or blooms give the part excellent mechanical qualities, while allowing considerable savings to be made on the quantity of material used and keeping machining times to a minimum. The ability of our forging division to process short production runs allows us to guarantee very competitive prices. Our molten metal moulding processes allow us to obtain parts with high technical specs and great dimensional precision, while still saving material and optimising part functions.
